June 20: "Breaking the Rules" Webinar


This telecast features speakers from industry who discuss how to decide when to be creatively disruptive and when to conform to the unwritten rules of an organization in order to effect change. This webinar is for Laboratory employees and subcontractors.

June 20-22: Cyber Endeavour Workshop

Hosted by Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Cyber Endeavour is an interactive, working-level event for leaders and operators in the cyber industry to discuss the most critical cyber challenges facing our nation and armed services, and to identify potential solutions. Cyber Endeavour is a two-part event that consists of a Leadership Symposium and Cyber-X Games. The Leadership Symposium offers presentations and panel discussions by authorities from government, services, academia, and industry. Cyber-X Games is a co-located three-day operational exercise in which participants are challenged in scenarios relevant to the topics discussed in the symposium.

June 22: Advanced Technology Division Commercial Seminar Series: "Self-Driving Cars and Lidar"

Location: MIT Lincoln Laboratory

Simon Verghese, who is leading the lidar team for Google-Waymo's next generation of sensors installed on self-driving automobiles, will present a few case studies on the use of lidar on Waymo vehicles. Before moving to Google, Verghese served as an assistant division head in the Laboratory's Advanced Technology Division. This presentation is not open to the public.
